Place 4 set of cards on the table. Each set contain 4 cards. Choose 4 person from your audience. Tell them to each one choose a card. To make it simple lets name the audience as Anne, Bob, Cindy, and Dave. and these are the 4 set of cards :

Reading Four Minds

Step1. Place 4 set of cards on the table. Each set contain 4 cards. Choose 4 person from your audience. Tell them to each one choose a card. To make it simple lets name the audience as Anne, Bob, Cindy, and Dave. and these are the 4 set of cards :
Anne Bob Cindy Dave 4 Clover K Spade Q Diamond A Diamond 9 Diamond 5 Diamond 5 Spade 8 Heart A Clover A Heart K Diamond J Clover 8 Clover 2 Diamond A Spade 7 Heart Let say Anne choose Ace Clover, Bob Ace Heart, Cindy Ace Spade, Dave Ace Diamond in their mind.

Step2. Make all 16 cards into one pile face down by a sequence.

Take Anne's set of card, make it one pile, then turn the pile face down.

Do the same with Bob's set of card, place it on top of Anne's set of card. Then do the same with Cindy's set of card, and the last Dave's set of card to make all 16 cards into one pile face-down.

Step3. Draw the cards from the top of that "16 cards" face-down pile, one by one to the table till it again make 4 set of card.

Take the pile that contain 16 cards, then draw the cards one by one with a sequence. 1st card on position 1, 2nd card on position 2, 3rd card on position 3, 4th card on position 4. 5th card back on position 1, 6th card on position 2.... Continue with that sequence till it make 4 set face-down of cards that each set contain 4 cards.

Step4. Make all 4 set of cards face-up. If you succeeded with the sequence, that 4 set of cards will looks like this :

Step5. Lets read our audience minds.

Ask Anne, Bob, Cindy and Dave to look at position 1. Ask Anne if the card she choose is in position 1, the answer will be no. Then ask Bob, Cindy and Dave. Only Dave will answer that the card he choose is in position 1. Then Dave's card must be the 4th card on position 1 Ace Diamond.

No Chosen Card at Position 2.

At Position 3 there are Anne and Bob's cards, Anne's card must be the 1st card, Bob's card is the 2nd card on position 3.

At Position 4, Cindy's card is the 3rd card.

So whether on position 1,2,3 or 4 Anne's Card must be the 1st card. Bob's Card must be the 2nd card, Cindy the 3rd card, and Dave the 4th card. Why?

Anne's set of cards are spread in 4 position at the end and all at 1st. That also happened with Bob's set of card, Cindy and Dave. Its all about change and spread the position.
And this card mind reading trick also do with 3, 5, 6, 7, 8 person. Just fit with the set of cards. 5 person means 5 set of cards that each set contain 5 cards and so on.
