Step two - Choosing the cards
Let the audience choose their cards in mind
- Tell the persons (Anne, Bob, Cindy, and Dave) to choose one card from his/her set of cards without telling you which card they choose.

Tell them to remember the card they choose, then after that take all 4 set cards and make it into 1 piles by a specific sequence.
- First take Anne's set of card, square it up and put it face down on the table. (See Figure 2.2 - 2.3)

- Next do the same with Bob's set of card, square it up and place it face-down on top of Anne's set of card. Then do the same with Cindy's set of card, and the last Dave's set of card to make all 16 cards into one pile face-down. (See Figure 2.4 - 2.7)
