Step four - Matrix and transposition magic tricks

What we do in step 3 actually is transpose the "4-by-4 cards matrix". Turning rows into columns and vice versa and make mathemathical principle as a magical way to read minds.

• If you put the mathematical principle into that 4 set of cards, that 4 set of cards are actually "4-by-4 cards matrix" and what we do in step 3 is transpose that "4-by-4 cards matrix".

• So what we actually do at step 3 is actually turning rows into columns and turning columns into rows of that 4 set of cards. (See Figure 4.1-4.4)
• If you done the transposition correctly, that 4 set of cards will looks like Figure 4.2 and Figure 4.4

• That transposition spread each person cards at beginning into 4 different set of cards. Let's take Anne for example, see Anne set of cards (represent by green color) at the beginning (Figure 4.3), compare to 4 set of cards after transposition (Figure 4.4). Anne's set of cards are spread into 4 position. That also happened with Bob's set of card, Cindy and Dave.
• Not only spread into 4 set of cards, but also on that 4 set of cards, each Anne cards will be at 1st position. That also happened on the other person cards, Bob's cards will be at 2nd position, Cindy's card at 3rd position, and Dave's cards at 4rd position.
