How to do table riffle shuffling method
Riffle shuffle is another easy and common method to shuffle a deck of playing cards. Many dealers in casinos use riffle shuffle as a card shuffling technique to randomize a deck of playing cards.
Riffle shuffle usually done on a table and that's why it's called Table Riffle Shuffle. But riffle shuffle also can be done without help of a table. With a proper grip you can do riffle shuffling technique of the table (of Table Riffle Shuffle).
The Table Riffle Shuffle - How to
- Cut the deck of playing cards into 2 piles. (not necessary into equal piles, but equal piles would be better).

- Grip half of the deck face down in each hand. Grip it by middle finger, ring finger on one short edge of the pile and thumb on the other short edge. Move the two piles closer so your both thumbs should almost be touching each other. Then use your index fingers to give the piles a downward pressure, while your thumb raise the edge of the piles to slightly bend the edge of the piles. (see Figure 1.2).
- Release some of the pressure on your thumb to "riffle" the cards of each pile so that the cards fall to the table interweaved. (see Figure 1.3)

- Then after all the cards have been riffle off and interweaved, you can just push and square the cards (see Figure 2.1)
- Or you can just push the cards a little then bend both of the short edge to make the deck into bridge or dome shaped. Then release the pressure to automatically riffle the cards and square the deck. (see Figure 2.2 - 2.3)
