Easy Kid's Card Tricks

Vanishing Ace is an easy magic tricks for kids using a deck of playing cards. The trick is very simple.

You show 3 Aces to the audience. Ace of Clover, Ace of Diamond, Ace of Spade. Then after put that 3 Aces inside the deck of cards and shuffle the deck, the Ace of diamond vanish. The Ace of Diamond cannot be found all over the deck. Then magically you found the Ace of Diamond inside your pocket.

Step One - Preparation and cards arrangement

Vanishing ace of diamond card tricks need some preparation. Take a deck of playing cards, search for four aces and take out the four aces from the deck.

• Hide the Ace of Diamond inside your shirt pocket and then put the other three aces on top of the face-down cards deck with position: 1st top card is Ace of Spades, the 2nd top card is Ace of Heart and the 3rd is Ace of Clover. Now you ready to perform the trick.

Begin performance - Do cards arrangement

• In front of your audience, take a deck of cards (the one you already prepared - with the three aces on top) and put it on the table.
• Say to the audience that you have three aces on your hands. "Ace of Spade, Ace of Diamond and Ace of Clover". While you say the name of the cards, arange the cards, place the Ace of Hearts between Ace of Clover and Ace of Spade. Make only part of Ace of Heart that visible that make the Ace of Hearts looks like Ace of Diamond. (See Figure 2.1 - 2.2 for the illustration)

Suggestion - You could do something like this when arrange the cards:

• Take one card at a time, When you took the 1st card with your right hand, say "I have Ace of Spade" then place the ace of spades on your left hand. Then take the 2nd card (Ace of Heart), say "Ace of Diamond", then place it behind the ace of spades. Then take the 3rd card, say "and Ace of Clover", put it in front of Ace of Spades and fix the three aces so the Ace of Hearts looks like the Ace of Diamond (Figure 2.2)
