How To Do Street Magic DVD Review

INTRODUCTION - The introduction to this amazing dvd is brilliant. It was the first ever video that i got. In the intro it self Brad is already teaching you tips on how to amaze your audience. He tells you that you have to belive that what you are doing is real and then everyone else will too. Then Brad and i belive Beth (I am sorry if i am incorrect) Tell you how to learn the tricks properly so that you dont mess up, so that when you step out onto the street you know EXACTLY what you are doing.

BURNED - Burned is a great trick. it is when you ask someone to take a card and then you tell them that sometimes you can get some spirt writing to appear on your body. You then proceed to try this out. You slowly rub ashes onto your arm, after a while it becomes clear; and the spectators card has appeared onto your arm.
Brad gose into good teaching about this and tells you the equipment that you need to perform this effect. He also tells you the way to make the correct card appear onto your arm!

GLASS STINGER - You sit down at a table, you take a coin, a glass and a napkin. You tell the audience what you are going to do. You are going to make the coin dissapear. You place the coin onto the table and place the glass over the coin. You then wrap a napkin around the glass because you dont want to show your audience how this amazing feat is accomplished. After a few trys you cant get the coin to dissapear. So insted you say lets try and different trick. Then BOOM the glass MELTS right through the table.
Brad tells you the right way to do this so absolutly noone will guese what you are about to do. He also gets the camera man to get the correct angle for you to learn this trick. He then teaches you the correct routine on how to present this effect.

SICK ACES - A brilliant trick that this time gets the spectator to do ALL the magic! You take the cards and just give them a quick shuffle. You then hand the spectator the cards and he/she cus the deck into foour more or less equal places. The spectator then mixes the cards up themselves. Then you make sure the spectator knows that you did not toch the cards and you DID NOT force the spectator to cut in any certain place. Then they agree becuause you didn't! Then you turn over the four cards that THEY THEMSELVES cut to. It happens to be the four most wanted cards in a game of poker... the Four Aces! Brad tells you the right way to do the trick and gose over it and clearly explians on how this is done so you dont get conffused. He also teaches you the build-up to make this trick to the MAX.

TRACE UNSEEN - A simple to do yet wouderful trick. You take the cards and give them a shuffle. You riffle through the cards and the spectator yells out stop and you stop at where they told you to stop. Then without anything tricky you just close up the deck and give a snap. Then you go through the cards and the card that they just saw has vansihed from the pack. Then you say to people look in your pockets. It is in the SPECTATORS pocket and you went no were near them!
Brad tells you on how to setup the trick and a few locations to make the card appear to make the reactions great. Brad then gose over on how to let them choose a card and he gose over it a few times to make sure that you know what you are doing.

MERGER - Merger is a good trick to do. It is very simple to do. you take a peice of rope or someones shoe lace. You then BORROW a bussines card and tear a hole into the middle of it and place it on the string. You then get the spectator to hold both sides of the lace so there is no way of getting it off. You then cover the lace with a hanckiechif and reach under; then remove your hands and you have the bussines card and theres only the hole in the middle. So how in the world did you get it off the string without tottaly ripping it off?
The teaching on this is great. Brad tells you the ocrrect way to make the card melt through the string withot anyone even being able to think of an explination on how this marvalous trick is done.

TRICK SWITCH - You let the spectator select a card and then you loose it into the deck. You then tell them to make and keep a poker face. you then go through a few cards and lay them down onto the table. One of witch is their card bu you mess up and you think that none of the cards on the table is the correct card. You then tell the spectator to name a number between one and ten. they do so but they are thinking that you tottaly blown it. You go through the number they say, (example 8) then the 8th card is their card! But they saw their card being put onto the table!
Brad gose over exactly how to do this one he gose over the move that you need to learn to do this trick sussfully. He gose over it loads of times to make sure that you really know on what you are doing so you do not mess up while performing.

VOODOO ZONE - This is possible the best trick in the DVD. You take two cards and fold then into each other. ou then slowly push one card thought the other. While you are doing this the card is turning insideout on itself. You then stop it half way and rip it and show that the card has stoped, half is insideout the other side is outsidein.
Good teaching on this one. Brad tells you the few basic moves that you need to know on how to do this simple yet STUNNING effect.

GO INSIDE SUGAR - You take a signed coin and a packet of suger. You squeeze the two together and the coin gose insdie the sugar packet. Then you open the packet and the SIGNED coin falls out of the sugar packet.
This trick will get you some amazing reactions. Their signed coin went inside a sealed sugar packet. Brad gose through for a few minites on how to do the one basic slight that you need to know in order to do this trick.

GEORGES OLD TRICK - You show you hand and flick your fingers; reach put and produce a coin from thin air.
Brad teaches you two tricks in this section. Brad teaches you on how to produce a coin from thin air. He teaches you the correct angles and how to make it look like you pulled it right out from thin air. After that Brad tells you on how to make the coin vanish; and go straight back into thin air.

CHANCE ZERO - Another good trick that gets the spectator involved in the trtick. You take the cards and give them a quick shuffle. You hand the deck to the spectator face down. Then you say i dont want you to think about it, but just make two piles of black and red. After they have done this they get it right and they have sorted out all of the cards into a pile of red and a pile of black.
Brad gose into a FULL nine minutes on explaining on how to do this trick. Its not because its that hard to do. Its becuase he wants you to make it right and how to get the best reaction form your audience, and how a miricle like this is made possible.

PRINT - You take a few blank cards and show it to be blank on both sides. You then put it through your hands twice with nothing happening. Then on the fourth try the card visibly prints inside YOUR OWN HAND!
This is a great way to had out your bussiness card in any situation. Brad gose into some good detail on how to make the card visble print inside of your hand.

MELTED - You take a pecice of string and a ring. You then place the ring onto the string and show that the ring really is hooked onto the peice of string. You then place it inside someones hand and make it MELT right through the peice of string that you BORROWED from somebody.
I belive that this is probly the hardest trick on this DVD. But becuas it is the hardest it has a great explination on how to do it. Brad gose over and over and over on how to acctually metl the ring off the string. He gose over the little things to make this woundeful trick happen insidd the spectators hand!

BONUS SECTION

FLOURISHES - Brad gose into amazing details on how to make these happen. A Flourishes is something that you blend into your magic routine to make it flow and make YOU look like you know what you are doing.

BALDUCCI SELF-LEVITATION This is the most AMAZING trick on the DVD. Brad gose over the correct way to mae yourself acctually lift of the grownd. You seem to float in the air just a few inches very breifly. This is THE REPUTATION MAKER. Show this to your buddys and they will be talking about you for weeks and weeks.

VEGAS CARD SWITCH This is and amazin way to swith a card. It looks like you place a card on the table and leave it. Thats what you are doing BUT in the process you are swwitching that card for another one. I would deffinitly learn this if you want to move on to NINJA.

FLOATING DOLLAR BILL This is the only trick in the video that you need to go to a magic store for to be able to perform. You borrow a dollar bill from someone and roll it into a little ball. You then place it on the spectators hand. Then after a while of consentration the bill seems to float on the spectators hand!

CLASSIC COLOR CHANGE This is in my oppinion the BEST way to visibly change a card face up. You hold the dekc face up and slowly rub the card and it changes into another card.

THROW VANISH A great yet very simple way to vanish a card. You can even use a credit card. Say you take your credit card out of your wallent and throw it into the air. But insted of it flying off it vanish's! You can then reach out and pull it right back out of mid air.

ROTATIONAL SPIN CHANGE This is probly the hardest trick of the bonus section. You take a card and hold it at the corners. Spin the card round, then again, and then once more and is changes into a different card.
