Jokers the spy agents - Self working mathematics card tricks

This card trick is self working math card tricks. Two spy agents with code name Joker will reveal the location of 2 selected card using mathematical tricks

Preparation

Set the cards - put two jokers into the 52 cards deck in specific order and then put the cards into cards box.

  • Get two jokers, and at the back of each joker write a number. At the back of one of the jokers write a number "18", and at the back of the other joker write a number "43". So now, we have 2 jokers that each has a number at the back, "18" and "43".
  • Put the jokers into 52 other cards with specific order. Put the 1st joker (with number "43" on the back) face-up at 10th position from the top of face-down cards. Put the 2nd joker (with number "18" on the back) face-up at 29th position.

So the all over position of 54 cards from the top will be:
    9 face-down cards - 1st joker (number "43") face-up - 18 face-down cards - 2nd joker (number "18") face-up - 25 face-down cards.
  • Put the cards back to the box.

Card Tricks Performance

You will need 2 spectators to assist you in the performance

  • Choose two random spectators to join in the magic performance.
  • Take out the cards from the box and put it on the table
  • Ask one of the spectators to cut about 1/3 of the cards and noted the bottom card (this is The 1st selected card), and then tell the spectator to put it next to the remaining cards pile.
  • Ask the other spectator to cut the remaining cards about half and also noted the bottom card (this is The 2nd selected card). And then tell the spectator to put it down next to the remaining cards pile.
  • Now is your turn. Put the 2nd cut pile on top of the 1st cut pile and then put it on top of the remaining pile.
  • Tell the spectators that you have 2 jokers that act as secret agent on the cards deck and you will ask the joker to show the location of the two selected cards.
  • Spread the cards and show that there is 2 jokers that face-up among all other face-down cards.
  • Separate the 2 jokers and then put the cards into one in specific order. If you sppread the cards from the right to left then The position you find the joker will be (From left to right - From top to bottom): cards (A) - joker(with the number "18" on the back) - cards (B) - joker(with the number "43" on the back) - cards (C). Put in order from the top A - C - B.
  • Then ask the spectator, "Do you know the exact position of your cards? No?", well the joker knew and the first joker tell me that the first selected card is on 18 position from the top, and the second joker say that the 2nd card is on the 43rd position from the top. So lets count it and prove it.
  • Then count the cards and reveal that on the 18th position actually is the 1st selected card and on the 43rd position is the 2nd selected card.
  • Last, you could reveal the number on the back of the jokers, and say that the joker actually already know from beginning that the selected cards will be on the 18th and 43rd position from the top. What a smart secret agents.

The jokers succesfully reveal the position of 2 selected cards. An amazing math card tricks.
