Simple Cards Cut

Cards deck cut is a routine activity on card games (poker games for example). The dealer completes their shuffle, and then sets the cards deck face-down on the table, the player then cut the deck. The purpose of card deck cut is to prevent the cards deck from being arranged by the dealer.

On magic performance this card deck cut is also a routine activity with the same purpose as on the card games. What people usually do not realize is that the "simple card deck cut" does not scramble the sequence of the cards.

Simple Card Deck Cut - How to

The simplest way of card deck cut usually done by taking the top portion of the cards, then end it by placing the remaining bottom portion on top of it.

Simple Card Deck Cut - A fact (Secret) behind it

A fact (secret) that lays behind simple card deck cut is that it change the start of the sequence of the deck, but does not scramble it.

• Example: first there is 2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,J,Q,K,A clover (from top to bottom) in a deck of cards. When you cut the deck into two piles, let say you cut at 5 clover. The deck will contain 2,3,4,5 clover and deck will contain 6,7,8,9, 10,J,Q,K,A clover. And when you place the on top of the the sequence is change to 6,7,8,9,10,J,Q,K,A, 2,3,4,5 clover. The sequence start at 6 clover on the top instead of 2 clover, but overall sequence still the same.
